Barbara Moutenot is proud to call Nashville home and loves living in the South. Originally from New York, the Moutenot family relocated to Nashville so Barbara’s husband, Roger, could continue his audio engineering/production career in a music-friendly city. The couple met while employed at the studio where Barbara worked as a recording engineer. Desiring a career that would allow her to continue working while raising two sons and her fascination with architecture, design and neighborhood dynamics,Barbara became a Realtor in 2001. She served on the Belmont-Hillsboro Neighborhood Association for many years and in 2008, Barbara helped launch a free concert series in Sevier Park in the 12South neighborhood, where her family has lived for over 20 years. In addition to neighborhood participation, Barbara is active with many local causes including Magdalene House, Oasis Center and SoundForest. She also continues to volunteer at the University School of Nashville, the k-12 school her children attended. Barbara’s older son is a computer engineer in Boston and her younger son is a student at Williams College. Barbara has a passion for connecting people and homes, and helping them discover the joys of living in Nashville. Feel free to visit Barbara in her new 12South office at 2814 12th Ave South, in the heart of a great neighborhood!
