Community Outreach

Community Outreach is such an important element of selling real estate. The human connection we make every day in helping people sell and buy homes carries over into helping others attain their dreams. Below are some of the many organizations Barbara supports with time and money.

Soundforest

http://www.soundforest.org

SoundForest is a Pro-Earth Eco-Charity whose purpose is to better our environment. It is our goal to partner with businesses allowing them to become more eco-friendly and assist them in making a positive difference in the world. We work to create and direct volunteer groups and spread the word about positive ways to treat the planet. Working with individuals, businesses, communities, schools, and municipalities we encourage a more sustainable lifestyle and operating procedures. We are improving natural and urban forests, improving water quality, filtering polutants from the air, and saving energy by planting trees and providing education about the environment. We support zero carbon methods of transportation and continually look for ways to increase awareness about the benefits of riding bikes. Live Sound, Live Healthy, Live Happy… Ride Bikes | Plant Trees.

Oasis Center

http://www.oasiscenter.org

Oasis Center is a nationally recognized organization on a mission to help young people move into a happy, healthy and productive adulthood.  Oasis Center recognizes that the lives of our young people are complex, and that supporting their healthy transition to adulthood can’t happen through a singular support. That’s why we currently offer 22 programs ranging from Nashville’s only runaway teen shelter to Nashville’s only college counseling center for first generation college students. That’s why over a third of our young people are involved in more than one of our programs or services.  And that’s why we’re making a real difference in the lives of Nashville’s youth.
